ISPAI with the support of Department of Telecommunications (DoT) successfully organized 1st India ISP Conclave (IISPC) at Hotel Hyatt Pune on 12th & 13th June 2023.
Two Days conference was the destination for ISPs, Government officials, Vendors exhibiting their equipment, Solution Providers.
The event at Pune was attended in person by more than 400 ISPs, in addition, more than 5000 people watched the event Online.
The presentations made by various speakers & exhibitors including the industry panel discussions were relevant to the industry and the attendees wholeheartedly participated in such discussions.
There was overwhelming participation by the ISPs in the sessions on License compliance, reporting on Saral Sanchar, IPDR as well as the session on financial compliances and life cycle management of licenses on Saras Portal.
The attendees raised many queries on the practical issues being faced by ISPs for complying with the license conditions. The officials of the DoT headquarters made note of the points / issues raised and assured the gathering on looking into the issues.
There was also presentation on the Bharat Net in which the presenter offered ISPs a revenue share model to offer broadband services in rural areas using Bharat Net.
Many service providers including the Internet Exchange providers and hardware manufactures exhibited their products and services in the exhibition. There were 30 exhibitors which include 15 Start Ups showcasing their products especially for the ISPs.
The exhibitors were thrilled to see the participation of the ISPs and the response received by the attendees.
